Communication is a key component in the process of building your new custom home with Sierra Classic.  We take your thoughts, your input and keeping you up to date on the progress of your new home very seriously.

Your builder will be in contact with you continuously throughout construction.  Although you will have many informal meetings with your builder, below are five critical meetings that will take place throughout construction.

Pre-Construction Meeting:
At this meeting you will sit down with your Builder, your Sierra Classic Sales Consultant, your Selections Coordinator and your plans.  The purpose of this meeting is to make sure you and your builder are on the same page of what you want to achieve with your new custom home.  You will review your contract, all addendums and any change orders that have been generated to date.  You will also review your house plans thoroughly and make certain all information relevant to construction is noted.

Electrical Walk:
You will meet with your Builder at the job site to discuss location of electrical components for your home.  This meeting will be a perfect time to make personal touches to your home.  Around the same time, you will meet with a representative with the company that installs the security system and structured wiring to discuss location of these components.

Trim Walk:
You will meet with your Builder at the job site to discuss and design your closet layouts and any additional trim work you would love to see in your new home.

Flatwork Walk:
You will meet with your builder at the job site to determine the location and shape of your driveway, sidewalks and patios.

Final Walk:
Your Builder will meet you and introduce you to your new home and demonstrate its many elegant features. You will learn about your maintenance responsibilities and warranty service. Your Builder will go through a detailed checklist during this walk and note any items that require your attention.
